Rocco got neautered and is now sick! :(

Last week, I took Rocco to the neuter clinic in Pueblo and they did a great job making him feel okay that he doesn't have his manhood anymore. :( I went to Pueblo cause it was $130 cheaper! BUT he has since chewed through TWO cones and has licked himself an infection... to the point where it looks like he has them back again! So, now I have to take him back for a check up and antibiotics. Poor baby! Any suggestions to make him stop licking?

Back from my vaca!

So, I just took one of the longest vacations I have ever had... 10 days in Long Island, NY! I really enjoyed myself, but learned 5 days is just as good as 10. I crabbed for the first time. We went to the docks and tied fish string to the dock and chicken legs. LOL Really! When the string got tight, you pull it slowly and scoop up the crabs in a net. We caught two dozen! I wnet to the beach and spent a day and night in Manhattan. Saw the show "In The Heights". Love it! Othern than that, I ate I ate and I ate! Bagels, pizza, homemade Italian food... Yummy! Now... it's time to work out and lose the 6 pounds I gained LOL

This past weekend was great! Mainly because I got to be lazy LOL I did the incline on Saturday and that was enough action for me. I use to do it all the time, at least once a week, but I guess I can't count that since it was years ago ;) But I want to start again before it snows. Today has been quiet. I kind of like it like that... got my list of things to do and people let me do it. :) Up next this week... two band practices and then we play at Hondo's this Friday. See ya there!

'09 Avon Breast Cancer Walk - COMPLETED!

I am proud, still sore, yet honored to say that the Magic FM Ideal Rescue team completed the full 40 miles to help find a cure for breast cancer. It wasn't as hard as I thought because you have hundreds of great people with lots of conversation, but it still wasn't a walk in the park. Although I am hooked now, and have already signed up for next year. Thanks to everyone who donated and supported my journey. To see more pictures, click here.

Sorry it's been a while since I have written, but things have been so crazy busy for me. Things are starting to slow down now cause the Dancing with the Colorado Stars competition is tomorrow, so that frees up a few hours three times a week for me. I am excited about the contest though! We have all been working so hard. I am more excited that my dad & sis are flying in from Texas to see it.

After the dancing, I have to start training hard for the avon 40 mile breast cancer walk! It never stops with me. If I survive the walk :) I will take a break for a quick minute ;)

So tomorrow I get my dress/costume for the competition. Vladimir and I have been practicing a minimum of twice a week or almost two months now. The routine is down, but we are still getting my technique to perfection. I get the dress tomorrow though, which means we can practice in it. Snowboarding at Copper!

Went to Copper to snowboard this past weekend. I had a blast! It was the first time my friend, Shannon, and I went boarding together and she's good! It's great to go with someone I don't have to wait on or vice versa. Hope you like the pics of our beautiful state!

Colorado has a lake? Or two?

Okay... I know this is going to sound bad, but I didn't know Colorado had a lake. I know about the reservoir in Pueblo, but I've never been. Well, I went to Eleven Mile lake Sunday and I must say... if you look past the frozen water right now (hehehe) it was beautiful. I still miss Texas lakes though :( Rocco was in the water like crazy! Rocco hiked for the first time!

This past weekend was awesome... St. Patty's Day parade (pics coming soon) and I took my puppy, Rocco, on a hike for his first time. He's 12 weeks old, HUGE, and now... very tired. LOL Here he is on the way home...

My camera on my phone is bad now, thanks to him chewing it the other night. :) He'll start getting use to the mountains soon.

Already practicing and it's 3 months away!

So, I agreed to be in this contest to dance with some of Colorado's most known people like Tammy Oakland of 92.9 The Peak, newscasters from Fox 21 and Chennel 13 and more... BUT I didn't know it was going to be so hard! LOL It's not until May 31st, like 3 months, and we're already practicing THREE NIGHTS A WEEK! Woo... that just means that the competition will be feirce and entertaining for you :) I have my third practice tonight. I'll try to get some pics or video for ya. Talk to you Monday.
